For the past decade, QuantERA has played a key role in strengthening the European quantum landscape and building long-term capacity in Quantum Technologies. Through the funding of both fundamental and applied research projects, the coordination of transnational collaboration, support for policy development, and the promotion of Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI), QuantERA has continuously contributed to advancing Europe’s quantum ecosystem.

The year 2026 marks an important milestone: 10 years of QuantERA. To celebrate this achievement and highlight the network’s journey, we have prepared a visual overview showcasing the key milestones, accomplishments, and impact of QuantERA over the last decade:

As the next framework for quantum R&I funding takes shape, with the Quantum Act ahead, we are already looking at what comes next — to build on our strengths and contribute to a stronger, more coherent European quantum ecosystem.
