We are pleased to announce the launch of QuantERA Call 2025 for international research projects in Quantum Technologies, aimed at strengthening cross-border collaboration and accelerating excellent research and cutting-edge engineering. The Call is funded by QuantERA partners with the support of the European Commission.

Professor Konrad Banaszek, QuantERA Scientific Coordinator emphasises that Call 2025 continues the programme’s tradition of fostering breakthrough ideas in quantum science:

Since its inception, the QuantERA programme has demonstrated a robust record of funding cutting-edge collaborative research exploring new concepts and methods in quantum science and technology. QuantERA Call 2025 aims to sustain this effort by providing support for fresh ideas and approaches in this very fertile scientific field.

Elżbieta Hryniewicka, QuantERA III Operational Coordinator, highlights the programme’s long-standing role in advancing quantum technologies across Europe and the new opportunities brougth by its latest edition:

QuantERA, one of the best-established European networks, has funded quantum research for nearly a decade. By bringing together the efforts of over 30 countries, the network has accelerated the development of ground-breaking solutions. The launch of QuantERA III, with the involvement of a new partner from the South Korea, provides fresh momentum and confirms the programme’s significance as well as its ever-expanding reach.

Researchers are welcome to apply for funding in one of two topics:

• Quantum Phenomena and Resources (QPR) with the goal of laying the foundations for the QT of the future;
• Applied Quantum Science (AQS) aimed at leveraging established quantum effects and concepts from quantum science, translating them into technological applications and developing new products.
