Save the Date – Strategic Conference: Impact of QuantERA 2016–2026
We are excited to invite you to the upcoming Strategic Conference: Impact of QuantERA 2016–2026, organised by the QuantERA Consortium together with the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) as one of its members and the National Centre of Competence in Research “Spin Qubits in Silicon” (NCCR SPIN) to be held at University of Basel, Switzerland. Mark your calendars for 28–29 September, and join us as we convene in the historic city of Basel for this enriching event.
The conference will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the QuantERA Programme – a decade of collaboration driving progress in quantum research across Europe and beyond. Together, we will reflect on the Programme’s key achievements since its launch in 2016, explore the opportunities it has created for researchers and institutions, and look ahead to the QuantERA’s next chapter. The conference will also highlight the importance of fostering an inclusive research culture in quantum science.
As part of the conference programme, projects funded under the QuantERA Call 2021 will present their achievements in parallel sessions organised by research area. The event will also provide an opportunity for projects from the QuantERA Call 2023 to participate in poster sessions, showcasing their work and engaging with fellow participants. Finally, the conference will serve as the kick-off for projects to be selected under the QuantERA Call 2025, introducing the new teams to the community. The agenda also includes a dedicated networking session for projects from the QuantERA Calls 2021, 2023, and 2025, offering a space to exchange experiences and explore potential collaborations across the QuantERA community.
Beyond the sessions, the conference will offer valuable opportunities to connect with fellow researchers, representatives of funding organisations, and policymakers in Basel – a meeting point for science, innovation, and international collaboration.
Please note that the Conference will be open exclusively for the invited individuals involved in the QuantERA Programme.
